H/ Hakobyan ready to compensate state for damage on 5 counts of charge
The former deputy of the Armenian parliament Hakob Hakobyan who was arrested on a tax evasion charge is ready to compensate the state for damage on five counts of tax evasion, the ex-deputy’s lawyer Karen Sardaryan told Aysor.am.
H. Hakobyan will have to pay about 80 million drams as compensation, the lawyer said.
He added that Hakobyan has a seven-count charge against him. “He is prepared to compensate for damage if his guilt is proven in court. I also intend to file an appeal,” the lawyer said.
