Parliament holds hearing of bill on personal data protection
A hearing of the bill on the protection of personal data was held in the Armenian parliament today. MPs and IT experts participated in the hearing initiated by the parliament’s standing committee on state and legal affairs, according to the press service of National Assembly.
First Deputy Justice Minister Arsen Mktrchyan made a report at the hearing. He presented arguments substantiating the necessity to adopt the submitted bill.
During the debates about the bill submitted by the government, parliamentary deputies raised a number of questions and received answers to them through joint discussion.
Debates were followed by a question-and-answer session, while IT experts presented their proposals.
