H. Abrahamyan: Anti-corruption council will work openly and transparently
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received USAID Assistant Administrator for Europe and Eurasia Susan Fritz and Director of the USAID Mission to Armenia Karen Hilliard, according to the press office of the Armenian government.
Hovik Abrahamyan praised the cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the USAID and the assistance provided to reforms in different sectors, considering the cooperation and assistance effective.
Touching upon the fight against corruption, Hovik Abrahamyan mentioned that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia has created and is chairing a council that will work openly and transparently and will focus on taking action against corruption phenomena.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, Susan Fritz mentioned that the USAID will continue its active cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Armenia and will assist in the implementation of reforms in different sectors. Fritz welcomed the creation of such a council for the fight against corruption and expressed confidence it would work effectively.
