Zhamanak: Martun Grigoryan intends to quit BHK faction
The chairman of the parliament’s standing committee on agricultural and environmental affairs Martun Grigoryan will soon file an application for his withdrawal from Prosperous Armenia (BHK) faction. ‘Zhamanak’ writes that he will announce his decision at the BHK Party’s congress on March 10.
The Armenian parliamentary deputy said that he plans to run for mayor of Gyumri in 2016, while BHK lost its prestige in the city as a result of the recent events. Besides, the current mayor of Gyumri Samvel Balasanyan is also a member of Prosperous Armenia Party, and running of two members of the same party in an election is inexpedient.
