RA NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov Meets with the State Secretary of the Latvian Foreign Ministry
On March 13 the Vice President of the RA National Assembly has a meeting with Andrejs Pildegovičs, the State Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Latvia.
The sides discussed a wide scope of issues concerning the agenda. The interlocutors highly assessed the current level of the regular political dialogue. They highlighted the holding of the second sitting of the Armenian-Latvian Inter-Parliamentary Committee in Yerevan in the second semester of this year.
The parties also discussed the further deepening of Armenia-European Union relations, emphasizing the holding of the Eastern Summit within the framework of the EU Presidency of Latvia on 21-22 May.
The RA NA Vice President and the State Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Latvia exchanged thoughts over a number of issues regarding the regional and international security. The RA NA Vice President presented the present phase of the process of the NK peaceful settlement in connection with this.
