Yerevan hotels raise prices
Yerevan hotels have raised the prices of rooms ahead of April 24 as many foreign guests are expected to visit Yerevan on that day to attend Genocide centenary events, Haykakan Zhamanak reports.
A source in the marketing department of Royal Tulip Hotel said they had price fluctuations and this is due to the “flow of guests.”
Ararat Hotel also raised the prices. The newspaper notes that the price increase in March was seasonal. A source in the hotel told the newspaper that several delegations have already booked rooms in the hotel.
Armenia Marriott Hotel also increased its prices considerably. The newspaper, however, failed to get a comment from the hotel.
