Armenia, Eurasian Development Bank sign US $150m credit agreement
Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received on Tuesday Mr Dmitry Pankin, Management Board Chairman, Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).
Armenia’s premier welcomed the guest and highlighted programs Armenia is implementing in various areas in cooperation with the EDB.
Mr Pankin thanked Armenia’s premier for a warm reception and pointed out the EDB’s willingness to discuss prospects of investment projects in Armenia.
The sides discussed the development of expansion of bilateral cooperation. Specifically, they discussed the possibility of implementing infrastructure development programs and areas of further cooperation.
Mr Abrahamyan and Mr Pankin were present at the signing of an agreement between Armenia and the EDB on an investment credit from the Eurasian Economic Community’s anti-crisis fund for the construction of the North-South corridor.
Under the agreement, Armenia is to receive a US $150m credit.
