Yerevan-Moscow plane downed over mid-air brawl
A brawl among the passengers of a Moscow-Yerevan flight has caused the crew to make a forced landing to avert a stronger violence.
The paper says that the plane’s downing in Russia’s capital delayed the flight for five hours (until 1:00 am instead of the scheduled 8:00 pm)
The report about the forced landing was later confirmed by Ruben Grdzelyan, a spokesperson for the Government’s General Aviation Department. “There wasn’t any serious incident,” he told the paper. “A passenger just said s/he wanted to return. So the plane was downed again. In such situations normally, all passengers are asked to get off out of security concerns. So that why the flight was delayed.”
