OSCE conducts monitoring along Line of Contact
In accordance with an agreement reached with the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities, the OSCE Mission on Monday conducted a monitoring along the Line of Contact.
The northern direction of the frontline came under observation this time.
From the positions of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Jiri Aberle a field assistant to personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office (Czech Republic) and Peter Svedberg (Sweden), a staff member.
From the Azerbaijani defense positions, the site was observed by Yevgeny Sharov (Yevgeny Sharov), a field assistant of (Ukraine) and Simon Tiller an assistant to the personal representative.
The monitoring was conducted in accordance with an agreed schedule. No violations of ceasefire were observed.
The mission members who conducted the monitoring from Nagorno-Karabakh defense positions were accompanied to the monitoring site by representatives from the Ministries of Defense, and Foreign Affairs.
