New militant attacks in Aleppo
Islamic militants on Sunday launched a new missile raid in Syria’s northern capital, Aleppo, targeting three districts.
Police sources reported mine explosions in Ashrafia, Kuatli and Aziziye.
Four people, including a woman and a child were killed; 36 were injured.
Fourteen more civilians died and another 14 were injured in rocket raids on Saturday.
According to the Syrian-Arab News Agency (SANA), the extremist group Shuhada Badr was behind the attacks.
Aleppo lies 360 km north off capital Damascus. Since 2012, the city has been split, with the western district being under the Government army’s control and the eastern district being held by armed militants.
