Armenian, Nagorno-Karabakh PMs chair joint cabinet meeting in Stepanakert
Cabinet members from the two Armenian republics met in Nagorno-Karabakh’s capital Stepanakert on Friday for a joint meeting conducted by Prime Ministers Hovik Abrahamyan and Arayik Harityunyan.
The Armenian delegation was in Nagorno-Karbakh to participate in festive events dedicated to the Armed Forces’ Day, the 23rd anniversary of the liberation of Shushi and the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Army’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In his welcoming speech, the head of Armenia’s cabinet highly praised the cooperation level, considering the mutual dialogue highly effective, says a press release by the Nagorno-Karabakh Government.
Greeting the guests from Armenia, the Nagorno-Karabakh premier thanked the government for the special attitude and assistance to the country. Mr Harutyunyan stressed the importance of interagency cooperation, highlighting its constructiveness and effectiveness.
The two cabinet chiefs further elaborated on the cooperation mechanism and outcomes, focusing on the existing problems and proposing solutions. At the end of the meeting, the two Government of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic agreed over future cooperation frameworks.
