Two minority parties likely to form opposition’s nucleus – politician
The Armenian opposition is likely two have two political parties - the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and Prosperous Armenia – as its central forces in the near future, says Lyudmila Harutyunyan, the leader of the Social-Democrat Hnchakyan party.
The politician made the remark at a news conference on Thursday as she addressed the current domestic political developments. She said she doesn’t expect the political minority to push way for major reforms without being united.
“Unless we see the problem-solving axis develop outside the parliament, no radical changes will be possible to achieve. Instead of targeting the authorities, the media often target the opposition. With the opposition being weak and not united, we foundations of the state shaking. So the media too, should have what to say in this connection,” Harutyunyan added.
