'My little butterfly!': Kim Kardashian adds hair accessories to daughter North's updo after trip to dance studio

Kim Kardashian has said her daughter North favors neutral and darker colors, but the little girl was rocking vibrant hues on Thursday, the Daily Mail reports.

The 34-year-old reality star shared a photo to Instagram of her 23-month-old with butterflies in her hair, captioning it: 'My little butterfly.'

North can be seen from a bird's eye view, running through a field of grass, wearing a black ensemble and white sneakers.

It is likely North just finished her dance class, as Kim and her child were pictured that day headed for ballet and tap dancing classes in Los Angeles.

The ladies were coordinated in head-to-toe black, including matching leather jackets.

Kim's jacket was hand painted with the word 'married' on the back – the very garment she wore at the reception of her wedding to North's father, Kanye West, on May 24, 2014.

And with her one year wedding anniversary just a few days away, it's no wonder Kim is already in the mood to celebrate, considering her last marriage to sportsman Kris Humphries only lasted for a mere 72 days in 2011.

She was also previously married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2003.

Interestingly, the raven-haired beauty recently revealed that she actively pursued Kanye following her divorce from Kris in 2011.

After she split from the basketball player, Kim said she was surprised the rapper didn't get in touch as soon as he heard about the divorce because there was always a 'spark' between them.

'When I first met [Kanye], we worked on a project together and there was definitely a spark, but we were in other relationships and we kept our distance,' she told Access Hollywood Live.

'We stayed in touch here and there and then when he wasn't in relationships, you know, it's just our timing would always not really coincide.

'I think it was six months after I was newly single in like 2012, I was like why not? Like, what am I waiting for?'

Kim tracked the down the Power hitmaker - whom she wed last year - and admitted 'the magic happened' as soon as they reconnected.

She explained: 'I thought he was going to call me as soon as he knew that I was single again.

'He didn't, and so I called him and I said, "Hello? I thought you were at least going to call me and say I told you so, something?"'

She added, 'And then - he's always been a good friend to me, like, we've always been there for each other - then he invited me to a fashion show of his in Paris and I went, and then the magic happened.'

The mother-of-one added the couple are still trying to have another baby, after previously revealing their difficulties to conceive.

'We're just hoping that it's sooner than later,' she said.
