Armenian president receives Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Czech Republic
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Tuesday Mr Pavel Rychetský, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic, who arrived in Armenia at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart Gagik Harutyunyan.
Armenia’s leader highlighted frequent mutual visits in the context of cooperation and exchange of experience. Such visits afford opportunities for free discussions of professional issues and exchange of views on problems of constitutional law. Mr Sargsyan commended Mr Rychetský’s visit to Armenia at the current stage of constitutional reforms in the country as other countries’ experience, especially to that of European states, is of importance for Armenia.
President Serzh Sargsyan also commended the bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas, which has intensified in recent years. The two friendly nations will establish comprehensive legal cooperation as well, the president said.
Mr Rychetský commended cooperation with Armenia’s Constitutional Court. The Czech Republic is willing to deepen cooperation with its Armenian partners.
President Serzh Sargsyan informed Mr Rychetský of the process of constitutional reforms in Armenia, close cooperation with European structures and significance of the reforms.
