Sitting of the NA Standing Committee is Held

On June 2 at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs moderated by Hakob Hakobyan the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Remuneration of State Officials” by the government was debated. The key speaker, the RA Justice Minister Hovhannes Manukyan presented the amendments to the draft law.

The key speaker Arpine Hovhannisyan submitted for the deputies’ consideration the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Social Security of the Servicemen and Their Family Members.”

The bill “On Amending the RA Labour Code” was also debated. The key speaker, the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan noted that certain provisions were brought into compliance with the requirements of the revised European Charter and International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conventions.

Artem Asatryan in the first reading also presented the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Employment.”

The draft laws with the endorsement will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the seventh session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.

Taking into consideration the importance of the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Social Security of the Servicemen and Their Family Members,” the Committee voted for organising the debate of the draft law in the second reading after the first reading within 24 hours.
