Political forces’ meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan was followed by reports that the issue of the Prosperous Armenia party’s joining the ruling coalition was discussed as well.

Moreover, according to the reports, the party was promised the posts of Armenia’s ministers of urban development and culture.

Talking to the newspaper, Chairperson of the Prosperous Armenia party Naira Zohrabyan said:

“It is completely absurd. The issue of forming a coalition is not on the Prosperous Armenia party’s agenda.”

According to the information at the newspaper’s disposal, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) party is expected to fill the post of minister of urban development. The issue of the ARFD joining the coalition is expected to be discussed this autumn.
