We need to combine our efforts in order to advance the country. Hovik Abrahamyan
Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council met today in the Office of Government.
The Council first discussed the possibility of applying a differentiated approach in the matter of taxation and granting tax benefits to those self-employed entities engaged in the family hotel business. During the exchange of opinions that followed, the participants came up with suggestions and recommendations on the issues.
Summing up the discussion, the Premier instructed the agencies concerned to develop and introduce a set of amendments to the applicable law.
“Our goal is to eliminate barriers to SMEs, enable businesses to further strengthen and consistently promote economic development. We need to combine our efforts in order to advance the country,” Hovik Abrahamyan said.
On completion of the 3-year term in office as a member of the SME Development Council, the Prime Minister thanked Chamber of Commerce and Industry Executive Director Karen Martirosyan for joint work and wished him every success in his future activities.
