Armenian PM hosts IT specialists
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Monday received representatives of leading IT companies, who are in Armenia to participate in the media conference entitled “Communication for Better Communication”.
Hailing the initiative to conduct the event in Yerevan, the premier described the idea as a good opportunity for considering new perspectives of developing television and radio communication, exchanging and broadening experience and attracting more investments. Emphasizing that the sector is under the Armenian Government’s permanent spotlight, Abrahamyan highlighted the importance of different leading companies’ activities in the country.
Thanking the premier for the reception, the guests agreed that the media forum would be a good opportunity to exchange the best practice in the area, discuss cooperation potentials and establish new business ties, reports the Government’s press service.
The event, being held in Yerevan from June 29 to 30, was organized by the National Committee of Television and Radio. Its sponsors are the Cable Broadcasting Association of Armenia and the London International Institute of Communications.
