Armenian businessman sues Mark Zuckerberg
Armenian real estate business developer Mircea Voskerician has filed a lawsuit against Facebook Inc. founder Mark Zuckerberg, and for reneging on a promise.
Voskerician had sold a mansion to Zuckerberg with a US$2.8-million discount, and in return for the Facebook mogul’s promise to introduce him to Silicon Valley’s elite, so that Voskerician would have a chance to find new buyers, reported Bloomberg.
Mircea Voskerician’s attorney’s, however, claim that a business deal with another potential buyer, an African prince who was ready to pay $4.3 million for that mansion, had fallen through because of Zuckerberg, reported Gazeta.
Mark Zuckerberg’s attorneys, for their part, tried to find out—through a private investigator—the authenticity of Voskerician’s version of events, and they revealed grounds to suspect the existence of this potential buyer prince.
