Zhoghovurd: Armenia’s SIS may open criminal case against ex Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan
Daily “Zhoghovurd” writes that ex Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan may appear in rather unfavorable condition. As it is known, earlier “Hetq” information web site published an information that Gasparyan acquired a 3-million USD worth mansion by 200 thousand USD.
The web site has sent an inquiry to the General Attorney’s office of Armenia to find out whether corresponding steps are being carried out over the facts presented in the material. The representative of the General Attorney’s office informed that the article is submitted to the Special Investigation Service (SIS) and corresponding works are being carried out there.
“It means that SIS may probably open a criminal case against the ex Chief of the Armenian Police. Recently a criminal case has been opened against Vladimir Gasparyan’s brother, Karen Gasparyan. He is accused of using force against a person,” the paper writes.
