Laws on film and museums to be adopted – Minister of Culture
An arrangement has been reached over establishing a creative center in Gyumri. It will be the biggest project for the upcoming three years. The project is financed by Diaspora Armenian Davidian brothers, Minister of Culture Lilit Makunts told the reporters today.
The minister stressed that new structure of the Ministry has been worked out to improve the organizational work of the establishment.
“The efficiency of the work of the Ministry is agreed with the organizational structure, departments, division of work,” she noted.
Makunts also stressed that task groups have been set up working on the regulation of the legislative field, particularly on drafting bills about films, museums, monuments, theatres. By the end of the year it is expected to adopt laws about film and museums.
“We are planning to engage international experts as well,” she said.
The Ministry of Culture is also planning to implement a number of events in the sidelines of Francophone. Besides, samples of Armenian monuments will soon be presented at New York Metropolitan.
