Raise of pensions by 2,000 AMD no solution to the issue – Sergey Bagratyan
Concrete work is being carried out for elimination of corruption, the results are obvious, member of “Tsarukyan” faction Sergey Bagratyan said, speaking to Aysor.am.
“I have noticed that the PM prioritizes two systems of economic development – establishment of justice and elimination of corruption. These two milestones are of special significance for the development of our economy but are not enough,” he said.
In his words the necessary trust toward tax and customs bodies has not been formed yet which is also an important factor.
Speaking about corruption revelations, Bagratyan underlined the importance of revelation of corruption schemes in particular.
Referring to the statement of Social Affairs Minister about raising minimal pensions by 2,000 AMD, the MP said, “We all understand that raising the minimal pensions by 2,000 AMD will not solve any issue. It will have psychological effect and raise positive expectations among people.”
He said radical solutions are necessary as the violations in the sphere have no limits. “All the social means were wasted during all these years. In case of right analyses and closure of all the gaps the minimal pensions may grow not by 2,000 but by 10-15 thousand AMD,” he said.
