6% economic growth expected this year – deputy minister
We need rise of the employment rate and will try to develop the spheres which will promote it, Armenia’s Deputy Economic Development and Investments Minister Avag Avanesyan said at the meeting with reporters.
He stressed that though as of the moment the situation is not what they expected, nevertheless they envisage having 6% economic growth this year.
“We do not consider it to be good but in July the volume of export was less than we expected. There are things we are concerned with but it does not mean that the economy is ruined,” he said, stressing that this year at least 6% economic growth will be registered.
