Armenia’s ex president’s attorneys to appeal SIS’s decision
Armenia’s ex president Robert Kocharyan’s attorneys are going to appeal the decision of the SIS investigator to change Kocharyan’s preventive measure, the attorneys of the former president told Aysor.am.
The Special Investigation Service has changed the preventive measure on signature bond on not leaving the country.
After lifting the arrest as a preventive measure the investigative body has not applied any other against Kocharyan until the talks about his departure from country.
The former president is charged with breaching the constitutional order during the public protests in March 2008. He was kept in custody for 17 days until Court of Appeal satisfied the appeal of his attorneys and set him free.
