CSTO has a core role in ensuring Armenia’s security – NA’s Vice Chairman

Vice Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov received today Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk, NA’s press service reports.

Issues on cooperation between the two countries and development of inter-parliamentary ties were discussed during the meeting.

Eduard Sharmazanov rated high the cooperation of legislative bodies in international parliamentary platforms and in CSTO PA in particular.
“CSTO has a core role in ensuring Armenia’s security,” the vice chairman said.

Sharmazanov also informed the ambassador that international conference dedicated to the 75th anniversaries of Kursk and Stalingrad battles will be conducted in Yerevan in October this year. The ambassador rated high the organization of the conference.

The interlocutors also referred to the agenda issues of the session of Armenian-Belarus inter-parliamentary cooperation scheduled in fall in Minsk.
