We encourage Armenia’s government to continue works addressed toward improvement of business environment – US Ambassador

USA is convinced in existence of excellent opportunities for joint work and prosperity of American and Armenian businesses, US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills told the reporters on Wednesday.

“We are convinced that there are real opportunities for doing mutually beneficial business and trade. We encourage Armenia’s government to continue works addressed toward improvement of business environment in Armenia,” he said, stressing that the investment environment is fragile – one wrong decision, one wrong step may frighten the investors. “I think the government will continue keeping under focus the works addressed toward improvement of the business environment in Armenia,” the ambassador noted.

Speaking about the franchising conference conducted by the US Embassy, the ambassador stressed that it creates ties between the US businessmen and Armenian investors.

“American franchising companies and Armenian investors have gathered here. More than 50 representatives of Armenian business and government, few American businesses participate in the conference. They are here to talk about issues on starting joint franchising activity,” the ambassador said.
