Armenia wants CSTO to really become collective security treaty organization – Nikol Pashinyan
The CSTO member states must discuss and understand what commitments the organization has before Armenia and what commitments Armenia has before the organization, Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview to Zinuzh program.
“As an opposition figure I was stressing the necessity to find out the commitments the organization has before its member states and vice versa. Each member state must learn its commitments and rights,” the PM stressed.
“It is not only Armenia’s issue, but the issue of all member states,” Pashinyan noted.
“It is not a secret that during my first contacts I have expressed my concerns to the president of Belarus and heads of other CSTO member states who sell weapon to Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan stressed.
“This discussion is necessary and it is aimed at not harming the CSTO, but the opposite, making it stronger. Armenia wants it really become a collective security treaty organization. We have a clear issue to solve here, it is the growth of our security level and our activity must be aimed only at that,” the PM said.
