Armenia’s military-political privilege is strong and efficient army – Nikol Pashinyan

The most important skill and feature of the country’s Supreme Commander-in-Chief is to unite people and armed forces at the critical moment, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview to Defense Ministry’s Zinuzh program.

“Our history has shown that our state, our people are efficient in conditions when there is a supreme commander who is able to unite the whole national potential to organize a counterattack,” the PM said, asked about the skills of Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

The premier stressed that one of the important military-political privileges of Armenia is the strong and efficient army.

Asked about knowledge of military issues the PM, who has not served in the army, said these are state management issues and are part of state management system.

“During this time we have naturally discussed numerous issues with the armed forces, many issues have been revealed. I want to register that these issues will by all means be solved. But unfortunately as of the moment many of them cannot get quick solution but we will be successive in solving them,” Pashinyan stressed.

He also noted that each figure must have military-political knowledge, “I think it is even senseless to discuss.”
