880 billion tax revenues collected in January-August 2018 – SRC chairman

Armenia’s State Revenue Committee has collected 880 billion tax revenues in January-August 2018 of which 670.7 billion AMD from tax bodies and 209.4 billion AMD from customs bodies, SRC chairman Davit Ananyan said at a news conference today.

He said that as compared with the same span of the past year the absolute figure of state budget revenue growth amounted to 120.8 million AMD or 15.9%.

“The tax sector registered 100.7 billion AMD (17.7%) growth and customs sector 20.1 billion (10.6%),” he noted.

Ananyan said in January-August 2018 67.2 billion AMD has been returned to bank accounts of tax payers against 41.1 billion of the same span of the past year.

“In January-August 2018 the “clean” revenue made 812.8 billion AMD which is 10.6% more as compared with the same span of the past year,” Ananyan said.
