Heritage party hopes no other incidents to be registered during election campaign – Armen Martirosyan

Heritage party chairman Armen Martirosyan does not see any bad intention in the detention of party members Hovsep Ghazaryan and Vahagn Hovhanissyan.

Speaking to Aysor.am, Armen Martirosyan said he does not want to see any sub-context in this case, expressing hope that such cases will be limited with this one only.

“I hope this will be a unique case during the campaign and such like cases will be excluded in future,” Martirosyan said, adding that as far as this is a unique case he does not want to see any bad intention.

On September 9 two members of the Heritage party Hovsep Ghazaryan and Vahagn Hovhanissyan were detained by the police near the National Assembly territory and brought to the police department in handcuffs.

In its official Facebook page the party stated that they were arrested for trying to campaign for the party in Street art style on the streets of the capital.
