Bill on cutting fine by half if paid in 8 days proposed to the NA

Member of the Republican party faction Mihran Poghosyan offers cutting the amount of fine by half in case of paying it during the 8 days after getting the administrative act.

“It does not relate to all the administrative acts. There are some exclusions like for instance driving under the influence of alcohol, or the cases which may have brought to serious outcomes for public,” main reporter Mihran Poghosyan said.

He said this will raise responsibility among people to pay fines, which in its turn will result in growth of the amount of paid fines as well as growth of the amount of entries to state municipal budget which, in MP’s words, will facilitate the work of courts and Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Agency.

Poghosyan also stated that it is necessary to make changes in the acting point of the law according to which fines must be paid in 15 days.
