The visit of the Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze will give new impetus to the Armenian-Georgian political, humanitarian, economic relations, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said after the meeting with his Georgian counterpart.
He stressed that the relations between Armenia and Georgia are brilliant and added that Georgia’s PM has proposed a very ambitious program.
“We backed this program. It supposes bringing the mutual trade turnover to 1 billion USD. It is a concrete topic. We should think of it and work out a road map,” the Armenian PM said.
He said Armenian-Georgian inter-governmental commission is going to conduct its session soon, and it should focus on working out road map for further development of relations.
“In any case we may register that with each visit our relations are rising on a new level, the atmosphere becomes warmer,” Pashinyan said, stressing that this tempo must continue.
