Armenian PM’s failure in Brussels country’s general problem – Armen Ashotyan
Republican party MP Armen Ashotyan believes that in his yesterday’s speech Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to him while speaking about Armenia-EU relations.
“No one spoke about Armenia-EU relations but me, and after visit to Brussels in particular. When your country’s prime minister’s visit to Brussels fails and till now everyone there speaks about it, it is the general problem of the country,” Ashotyan stated, adding that the PM failed to receive financial and political assistance from the EU even in the sidelines of Armenia’s commitments.
The MP said the PM himself hailed the ratification of the Armenia-EU Agreement but failed to do anything in Brussels.
Speaking at an election campaign rally of My Step alliance, PM Nikol Pashinyan said, “A week ago they were crying about failure in Armenian-Russian relations. Today I state with whole responsibility that Armenian-Russian relations have never been on a higher level than they are today. Now they cry about failure of Armenia-EU relations. You better do not think about it, you think about yourself, we will handle our foreign relations. If you have anything to cry about you do not need to cry on Armenia-Russia-EU relations. You better cry that your time, the time of thieves and liars, has passed in Armenia and will never come back,” he said.
