Azerbaijan’s military rhetoric and unconstructive position impedes negotiation process – Armenia’s PM
The military rhetoric and unconstructive position of Azerbaijan impedes the negotiation process, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, said today at the Government-NA Q&A.
“I reaffirm the readiness to be fully engaged in the negotiations and there was no case when Armenia has been proposed to meet and negotiate but refused,” the premier said.
He said during non-formal contacts on July 14 Russia’s president offered him to introduce to Ilham Aliyev. He said he accepted the offer and got acquainted with Aliyev but no formal discussion took place.
“If we refused to discuss any constructive proposal we would have stated about it from the very beginning. We are ready, I am ready to be fully engaged in the negotiation process. The foreign minister is engaged in the process and we have many times stated about it,” he said.
