NSS director, SIS chief use March 1 case to divert people’s attention from scandalous wiretapped conversation – Kocharyan’s attorney
If Armenia’s National Security Service director and Special Investigation Service chief have evidences that oligarchs were distributing money to soldiers from February 23 to March 8, 2008 for them to be on their side why no charges have been filed by now.
“If they know who did it where are the charges? If it is not proved why are they making such public statements?” Hayk Alumyan said.
The attorney noted that March 1 case is sensitive as people treat it with pain which in its turn is being used by the NSS director and SIS chief for diverting the attention of people from the scandalous wiretapped conversation.
He added that there is no ruling, there are no evidences, no charges but the SIS chief presents documents at a news conference as if these are registered facts. “If they consider them facts let them say who is charged,” Alumyan noted.
