Businessmen not to deal with politics in Armenia and vice versa, Armenia’s PM says
The interests of Republic of Armenia and people are often ignored in the contracts signed between the government and partners, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the meeting with members of the Movement of Enterprises of France (MEDEF), Aysor.am correspondent reports.
“We understand that each country defends its interests but the chair of defender of Armenia’s interests is not empty anymore as, if continued so, the prospects of activities of these companies will become rather smoggy as big holes have been created and we need to get out of them by helping each other,” he noted.
Pashinyan stressed that the government is inclined to solve all the issues via open dialogue.
The PM noted that hence those dealing with economic activities in Armenia will not have contenders.
“Those who are dealing with business in Armenia must not be engaged in politics and those who are dealing with politics must not be engaged into business activities. The Armenian authorities are able to ensure these conditions in short period of time as it has the full support and trust of the people. We will not change this trust with anything material. There is not so much money or gold in the world that can be equivalent to the value created as a result of our revolution,” Pashinyan said, adding that the created situation is a big opportunity for all and expressed conviction that this opportunity will not be devaluated or wasted. “I invite all to a big dialogue about our big future,” he said.
