Instructions voiced by country’s PM are due for immediate implementation – Armenia’s police chief
Neither the police nor chief of the police may ignore the instruction of the country’s prime minister, chief of the Armenian police Valery Osipyan told the reporters on Friday, referring to Nikol Pashinyan’s instruction to carry out raids.
“Each instruction voiced by the premier is due to be implemented immediately,” he said, adding that they carried out the instruction but the results are not for media coverage.
“This is a constantly continuing process. Police are always getting operative information but they are not for publication. We check all the received information,” he added.
“The police officers do not get pleasure by laying citizens down to asphalts. It is just a legal procedure to disarm people,” the chief of the police said, adding that each armed citizen is a danger.
