Armenia’s three presidents decline invitation to participate in Armenia’s Independence Day celebrations
Armenia’s third president Serzh Sargsyan will more probably decline the invitation to participate in the celebrations dedicated to Armenia’s Independence Day, Republican party spokesperson, vice speaker of parliament Eduard Sharmazanov said, speaking to Aysor.am.
“Let Nikol Pashinyan be so kind and apologize to Serzh Sargsyan and Robert Kocharyan for publicly offending them, only then they will think to participate or not,” he said.
“How one can call someone a political corpse and then invite to celebrate Independence Day. The political ethics first demands apology for publicly offending these people,” Sharmazanov stated.
Armenia’s first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan will not participate in the celebrations too.
Speaking to Aysor.am, ANC spokesperson Arman Musinyan said that the first president is not going to attend the events.
Victor Soghomonyan, head of the office of Armenia’s second president, told Aysor.am that Robert Kocharyan will not participate in the celebrations.
Earlier head of prime minister’s staff Eduard Aghajanyan stated that the three presidents have been invited to participate in the celebrations dedicated to Armenia’s Independence Day.
