New generation businessmen to be core players in Armenia’s economy: Armenian PM
Armenia’s government works on eradicating corruption schemes existing in the country, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated today at the celebration dedicated to 27th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence.
“Our country has entered a new historical era, and our issue is to solve the issues of the past 27 years. One of the most important of them is the state-intertwined corruption scheme that has infected our whole state system and hinders the development of our state and public,” he said, adding that today’s issue is to eradicate all the corruption schemes, form independent and legal judicial system, guarantee freedom of speech and political activity, protection of human rights.
“Our issue is to give new impetus to our economy which will be based on free and creative citizen who believes in his ability to change the reality even if starting from zero, who will create new Armenian brands that will conquer the world and change Armenia’s fate,” the PM said.
He said one of the core players in new Armenia will be new generation businessmen who became rich by their work and together with the government feel responsible for the building new economic system and new economic relations.
“Together with such people we will essentially change the country’s economic structure making Armenia a country of high technology, industry and digital technology,” the PM stated.
