Armenia’s police to report about actions in PAP office after investigation: Police chief
All the actions by the police stemmed from the law, chief of the Armenian police Valery Osipyan said after voting, referring to the actions police carried out in one of the PAP’s offices on September 22.
“The police officials acted in accordance with the law. Investigation is underway and we will report about it to the people,” Osipyan said.
Asked whether the information about election bribe distribution at PAP’s offices, Osipyan said the issue is being examined.
As to the statements of PAP mayoral candidate Naira Zohrabyan as if the police have made up these calls, Ospyan said, “It is Naira Zohrabyan’s fantasy that the police is unaware of the situation. The police is aware of the operative situation in Armenia and responds to any received call or report.”
In genera, the police chief assessed the process of elections normal without any incidents and frauds.
