Armenia’s PM hopes for higher voter turnout despite absence of “mini-buses”
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan who is heading for New York stated in a live video on Facebook that he follows the voting process and is very glad that it passes in good mood.
“As compared with the past City Council elections the voter turnout is a bit less by 1-2% but it is agreed with the fact that the voters have not been brought in mini-buses, buses to the elections precincts. Nevertheless, I hope that our citizens will be more active irrespective of the existence of mini-vans,” Pashinyan said.
He stressed that this elections are exclusive as they will reflect the people’s will.
“I am convinced that the voting process and calculation of ballots will pass in atmosphere of love and solidarity,” he stressed, adding that it cannot be in other way as the law enforcement bodies are implementing their mission.
