Membership to EAEU stems from interests of our states: NA’s vice speaker

Delegation headed by the vice parliament speaker Eduard Sharmazanov which is in Belarus on a working visit met on September 24 with the leadership of Republic Council of the National Assembly, Armenia’s NA press service reports.

During the meeting the parties discusses issues on deepening and expanding relations between the two countries. The interlocutors referred to the necessity of intensifying inter-parliamentary cooperation, attached significance to the work carried out by the inter-parliamentary commission.

Speaking about the cooperation among the Eurasian Economic Union member (EAEU) states, Sharmazanov noted that the EAEU has created new opportunities for developing relations with the member states and carry out new joint programs.

“Membership to the EAEU stems from the interests of our states. We must use the opportunities of the EAEU market more effectively,” the NA vice chairman said.
