Hraparak: RPA’s approach over dissolving NA not unanimous
Hraparak paper writes that ex mayor Taron Margaryan as well as other Republican party members have not cast votes at the Yerevan City Council elections.
According to the paper, no collective instruction was given who to vote for but everyone understood that they could vote for anyone but Hayko.
“It appeared that many of them voted for the PAP, Kocharyan’s supporter republicans cast their votes for ARF-D and very few voted for Luys,” the paper writes.
“We were ready to back Zeynalyan but he did not give guarantees that he would not cooperate with My Step bloc and Hayko,” the party representative told the paper.
Hraparak also writes that the party’s approach over dissolving NA is not unanimous, the majority is against, but there are republican lawmakers who think it is necessary to dissolve the parliament. “It depends on what the chief says, the chief is Serzh Sargsyan,” the party member said.
