Summit of CIS leaders launch today in Dushanbe
Regular summit of the heads of the CIS countries launched in the capital of Tajikistan Dushanbe.
Armenpress reports that Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan as well as presidents of Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Azerbaijan as well as vice prime minister of Turkmenistan are participating in the summit.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov refused to attend the summit due to disputes with Tajikistan.
Today the summit will pass the CIS presidency for 2019 to Turkmenistan.
