Kazakhstan stands for peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict: Nazarbayev
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met in Dushanbe with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the margins of summit of the heads of CIS member states.
Pashinyan noted with delight that bilateral inter-state relations are developing continuously and attached significance to the expansion of cooperation in economic sphere.
The Armenian PM stressed that few Kazakh companies are displaying interest toward the Armenian market and are intending to carry out investment programs.
Armenia’s PM expressed conviction that the deepening of business ties will promote the growth of volume of trade turnover between the two countries. He also attached significance to cooperation in the sidelines of CSTO, EAEU and CIS. Nikol Pashinyan said it is necessary to raise the efficiency of partnership within the organizations and carry out constructive discussions over concrete issues to find solutions.
In his turn Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed that the trade volume between the two countries grew by 60% during the past year and voiced conviction that this tendency will be continuous as a result of actions by the governments of the two countries.
He said that Kazakhstan is open for Armenian business and products and stressed that the parties have good opportunities for expanding and developing ties.
President of Kazakhstan stressed that the Armenian specialists have always displayed their best sides and highly rated the exchange of experience in different spheres.
Speaking about Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, Kazakh president said that Kazakhstan is for peaceful settlement of the conflict.
During the meeting the leaders of the two countries discussed Armenia-Kazakhstan agenda issues, referred to development of bilateral cooperation in different platforms.
