Armenian, Mongol FMs discuss trade-economic cooperation

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Mongol counterpart Damdin Tsogtbaatar in New York on September 28.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues on bilateral relations. Briefing on Armenia’s achievements on innovative and IT sectors, Minister Mnatsakanyan attached significance to the cooperation and implementation of joint programs.

The parties particularly referred to the development of trade-economic relations between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting Mnatsakanyan and Tsogtbaatar signed agreement on free visa regime between Mongolia and Armenia for the people with diplomatic and service passports.

The parties expressed conviction that the agreement opens a path for establishment of free visa regime which will contribute to intensification of contacts between the peoples of the two countries.
