PAP and Luys bloc have serious and extensive work to do inside the Yerevan Council: Armenia’s President

Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian addressed a congratulatory message on the occasion of Yerevan City Council elections.

The president congratulated on the conduction of lawfull elections based on Constitutional norms and principles.

“This is the new step of New Armenia addressed to the radical improvement of election process which will serve a basis for conduction of better elections,” he said, highly rating the position of participant blocs and parties as well as non-participant forces who accepted the election results and congratulated the winner force.

“The victory of My Step bloc has put a great responsibility on the force and the mayor in particular. Prosperous Armenia Party and Luys bloc will also have serious and extensive work to do inside the Yerevan Council to ensure diversity and balance of opinions,” the President wrote, wishing the new authorities of Yerevan effective work for the sake of capital’s prosperity and people’s welfare.
