Chairman of Armenia’s Investigative Committee receives outgoing U.S. Ambassador
Chairman of Armenia’s Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan received today outgoing U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills who is ending his tenure in Armenia.
Head of the Committee attached significance to the cooperation established with the U.S. Embassy which resulted in the implementation of a number of ambitious programs addressed to the development of the Committee.
“The Investigative Committee has always felt the support of the U.S. Embassy. Thanks to this cooperation we brought into life a number of ambitious programs which really contributed to the increase of efficiency of the Committee’s activity,” Grigoryan stressed.
The parties also referred to the digitalization of materials of the criminal cases, exchanged ideas over new directions for cooperation.
The Ambassador too expressed gratitude for close cooperation and presented the newly appointed head of Embassy’s Program on Fighting against Drugs and Cooperation with Law Enforcers Michael Schulman.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of cooperation between the law enforcers of different countries and registered that only effective cooperation ensures inevitability of punishment irrespective of state borders.
The head of the Investigative Committee wished Ambassador Mills success in his future diplomatic mission.
