Armenia’s PM to resign
Armenia’s Prime Minister will resign, PM Nikol Pashinyan stated at the rally today.
“Let no one think I have stuck to my office,” he stressed.
He said that on the eighth day of his resignation the National Assembly is to elect new PM.
"If during that period it fails to elect new PM, another seven days are to pass and plus one day for election of new PM. If it elects the country will have new PM," he said.
Nikol Pashinyan said that if new PM is not elected snap parliamentary elections will be declared.
"If it appears that people are for snap elections we will manage not to allow election of new PM," Pashinyan stressed.
