Snap parliamentary elections to endanger political pluralism and smooth way to absolute political monopoly of one person: NA vice speaker
The issue on conduction of snap parliamentary elections does not allow our government to have a break, vice speaker of the parliament Eduard Sharmazanov stated today at the NA.
“There are no grounds for self-dissolving of the country’s legislative body. The National Assembly has been elected legally,” he said.
According to Sharmazanov, the conduction of snap parliamentary elections will endanger the political pluralism and will smooth a way to an absolute political monopoly of one person which is inadmissible.
Sharmazanov stressed that the new authorities even went so far that stated from UN chair that the former Armenian authorities were authoritarian.
He stressed that five months have passed from the change of power while no signs of development are being seen, no serious investment programs have been brought to Armenia, no new jobs have been created, the shooting on the border has not stopped.
“These are the real facts and the guilty of all this is not the National Assembly,” the Republican party spokesman said.
